As part of our 2025 Safeguarding Series we would welcome those team members that require Level 1 or an introduction to safeguarding to this session. It will be suitable for MDT, administrative or non clinical staff that do not require Level 3 as an introduction to the topic. We will cover what safeguarding means in the context of Primary care. There will be discussion and review of;
– Relevant legislation
– Case presentations
– Information on Child Protection Case conferences
– What to consider when managing documents in practice and confidentiality
– How adverse childhood events may impact the child long term (ACEs)
