GPNI in conjunction with Cancer Research UK & PHA (Public Health Agency) are delighted to have Dr Jonny Dillion and Ursula Gaffney (PHA – Bowel screening programme manager) present a webinar on cancer screening in Northern Ireland. This webinar will run in conjunction with Cancer Research UK’s public screening awareness campaign which launches across Northern Ireland from the 17th February-30th March 2025. This session will include information around the public awareness campaign, an overview of the cancer screening programmes in Northern Ireland, barriers to participation and the role of primary care in improving informed participation (with a focus on bowel screening).
