Safeguarding Webinars

Level 3 Safeguarding Webinars

GPNI in Partnership with a number of Safeguarding Leads have developed a series of safeguarding webinars covering topics including domestic violence, adult safeguarding and sexual exploitation. These sessions are designed to provide level 3 training during and are open to all the practice team. We are currently to refreshing and updating these resources for 23/24 – we would welcome any feedback on positives and negatives of this resource.

CHILD SAFEGUARDING

This is the first in our four part Safeguarding series for Primary Care team members. This series session will be led by Dr Naoimh White alongside input from Primary Care Social Work and PHA Nurse Safeguarding Leads, Specialist interest GPs and appropriate external organisations.

This first session led by Dr White and Safeguarding Leads will focus on Child Safeguarding and Neglect. It will highlight and review how this may present to primary care team members in the primary care setting including case reviews.

The session will also discuss information around thresholds of concern. All sessions will be delivered at a Level 3 Safeguarding standard for the purposes of assisting attendees to meet the safeguarding standards required for continuing professional development and appraisal.

PRE-COURSE & POST COURSE QUESTIONNAIRE

We wanted to try something extra to help you with your safeguarding reflections and have designed a Self Assessment survey that you can fill in before and then after the session to compare your learning from the event and how your confidence around the topic has been impacted. We hope this will help with evidence for CPD & reflections.

You access this HERE and simply use the same link after the event again to update your reflections (each time you submit a response you should get a copy of your answers).
