We are delighted to be joined by Dr Claire Benson, Consultant Rheumatologist BHSCT who will be running through a few case studies of both common and complex rheumatology presentations. She will be discussing how far we should investigate in primary care, key features that suggest referral to secondary care is required and discussing how primary care negotiates the referral process with long waiting lists to ensure our patients are seen at the most appropriate clinic in as timely a manner as possible.
