.This session will focus on deprescribing in palliative and end of life care; acknowledging the challenges of polypharmacy in palliative patients, while adopting an evidence-based approach to prioritising deprescribing. It will also cover some of the hot topics in community palliative care in Northern Ireland, such as anticipatory prescribing, accessing palliative medicines, new guidelines and resources and a syringe driver update.
