ADULT SAFEGUARDING
This is the second in our four part Safeguarding series for Primary Care team members. This series session will be led by Dr Naoimh White alongside input from Primary Care Social Work and PHA Nurse Safeguarding Leads, Specialist interest GPs and appropriate external organisations. This second session led by Dr White and Safeguarding Leads will focus on Adult Safeguarding including elder abuse. It will highlight and review how this may present to primary care team members in the primary care setting including case reviews where relevant. All sessions will be delivered at a Level 3 Safeguarding standard for the purposes of assisting attendees to meet the safeguarding standards required for continuing professional development and appraisal.
