GPNI & RBHSC SIMED Autumn Series: Pre School Wheeze: Chesty, Wheezy, Sneezy
Dr Ben Mc Naughten is a Consultant Paediatrician with a specialist interest in Respiratory Medicine in RBHSC. He will present a session with clinical vignettes on the approach to managing wheeze in children and young people. This talk will include discussion around common conditions encountered in primary care- bronchiolitis, respiratory tract infections, acute episodic wheeze, recurrent viral wheeze and the diagnosis of asthma. There will be useful tips on assessing the child, with advice and discussion around evidence-based therapeutic management options. There will be an opportunity for MDT panel discussion and Q&A.
