Dr David Coyle, Consultant Psychiatrist, Adult Eating disorders will deliver a session on the subject of Eating Disorders. This will include aetiology, symptoms and their recognition, thresholds and referral processes, the treatment that can be offered, the state of current commissioning for regional services and, perhaps most importantly, the key challenges and issues that one might face as a professional in engaging with this complex, challenging illness. Dr Coyle will also discuss the new MEED (Managing Emergencies in Eating Disorder) Guidance.
