We will be joined by Dr Mary Larkin, GP , Clinical lead for IRIS  Domestic Abuse Programme and Safeguarding Trainer to provide an insight into recognising domestic abuse in a primary care setting. Dr Larkin will cover how best to ask the correct questions and respond and consider issues regarding perpetrators of abuse as patients. We will also provide an update on recent legislation with regards to Domestic Abuse and DASH MARAC and APP1 overview with Dearbhaile McMahon, MDT Senior Social Work Practitioner.
