Northern Ireland Hospice, Marie Curie and BHSCT have recently launched the first phase of the new Belfast Community Palliative Care Hub. This service will act as a single point of referral and triage for all community palliative services, both routine and urgent referrals for all patients registered to a GP within the Belfast Area. It also features the ability for Urgent Clinical Nurse Specialist and Medical advice and Domiciliary Visits, with a plan to expand to other allied health professionals in future phases.
