Sample taker training Part 1 and Part 2 will be delivered on 18th and 25th June, providing an overview of the key stages across the cervical screening programme pathway. The sessions will include contributions from colleagues across the programme, including PHA, Call/Recall (BSO), the Cervical Screening Regional Laboratory and Colposcopy. Key topics will include the transition to a regional laboratory, practical guidance on ensuring samples are appropriately prepared for laboratory processing. An overview of who is not routinely called for cervical screening and referral pathways and management within Colposcopy. The aim is to help sample takers strengthen their knowledge, improve practice and ensure the quality and consistency of cervical screening services.
