Prof Nigel Hart QUB, Dr Sian-Lee Ewan, UU and Dr Michele Stone NIMDTA will be sharing the range of opportunities to get involved in medical student teaching and GP training. They will outline the expansion of GP placements in our medical schools as well as the increase in GP training places. We are delighted to welcome Prof Val Wass, a powerful advocate for General practice, who has won awards for her significant contribution to medical education, and known to many as the author of “By choice not by chance: supporting GP careers in general practice for medical students.” This session will include information relevant to both GP partners and salaried GPs as well as sessional doctors.
