Phase One of implementation of the Mental Capacity Act (Northern Ireland) 2016 ‘the Act’ commenced on 2nd December 2019 with Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). This session will focus on practical application of DoLS and the Act for GPs. It will include case scenarios that you might encounter in your practice with the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. The session will be delivered by Steph Kerr, Service Manager and MCA Lead in Belfast Health and Social Care Trust.
