We are delighted to be joined by Alan Wilson, Specialist Gastroenterology Pharmacist, Belfast Trust for an update on Iron deficiency anaemia. Alan has a post graduate Masters assessing parenteral iron therapy and is the UK pharmacist representative on the British Society Haematology anaemia working group. He also set up a large ambulatory parenteral iron clinic in the Belfast Trust 10 years ago. In this session we will cover:
