Expressions of interest are invited from nurses who wish to attend the Nurse & Midwife Independent / Supplementary Prescribing course (September 2024-June 2025). This course is being offered by Ulster University at their Belfast Campus and commences September 2024. Pending funding being made available a limited number of places will be allocated to enable nurses to undertake the course.

It is imperative that you have identified a Practice Supervisor and Practice Assessor to enable you to complete the programme. Further information regarding these roles is attached in the Eligibility Criteria for Applicants. 

The requirements of the course are such that one to two days a week are required for study purposes; it is important that this is negotiated with your employer.
